A bit of a different format from my other journal entries. I guess I don't have too much to say in this one other than the fact that I had a good time! Halloween was a lot of fun. I met up with some friends for dinner and then we drove around to trick-or-treat a bit. I haven't gone trick-or-treating since I was maybe 8 or so. I was never really "cut off" but I guess one year for some reason or another I just didn't go and then I never went again lol so I suppose I got to relive a bit of my childhood that I had missed a lot. I figured I wanted to do it one last time and take advantage of my terribly chronic babyface. I was honestly really shocked to learn that none of the neighborhoods had been getting any kids. Everywhere we went was more or less completely dead. Some houses had absolutely nobody come to their doors which was crazy to me. It kind of feels like trick-or-treating just ... isn't a thing anymore? or at least not like it used to be. Maybe i'm wrong though. It seems like parents are just more inclined to bring their kids to a trunk-or-treat or whatever than to take them door to door, but it honestly might just depend on the demographic lol. Anyway, we laughed a ton and took a bunch of pictures. Here's a few :^)
